Undeforestation Project

Summer Moore and Marissa Macias are two Brooklyn-based Photographers and best friends who met in Parsons The New School of Design in 2005. They have since traveled the globe and have collaborated on photographic projects and commissions. They each specialize in different types of photography, ranging from environmental to studio fashion. Each brings new ideas to the collective work: enabling a cohesive, creative, and dynamic team.

Their passion for photography and travel has led them to venture and create a photo book centered on the mythic Amazon.By uniting distinct photographic processes and combined experience they are creating an artful collection of images and text, that are visually transformative and thought provoking. Through the book they hope to generate global enthusiasm for rainforest preservation.Additionally,100% of proceeds from book sales will be donated to the Rainforest Foundation.
